JULY is "Wild About Wildlife" Month!
AUGUST is National Homeless Animals Awareness Month. You'd be surprised how many animals of all sizes do not have a family to care for them :(

NEWS ALERT!!!! Badger Vet has added a new vaccine to core vaccine protocol to protect your dogs from one more scary disease that has become more common in our family pets. This is a bacterial disease called Leptospirosis.
Leptospirosis is readily passed to dogs through contact with urine from other animals infected with Leptospirosis. Carriers of Leptospirosis may be rodents, squirrels, skunks, raccoons and other infected animals, including both dogs and people. These animals may scurry through the same back yard your dogs run through! If you have questions about this vaccine or disease, call and speak to one of our technicians anytime.

Kittens can show up anywhere, even when you don't have cats. Just ask some of our staff members! Visit this link to learn what you can do in the event that you come across an abandoned kitten.

This summer Badger has special offer!! Buy a box of K9 Advantix (6 doses) and get 2 doses for FREE! Remember, K9 Advantix is awesome because it not only repels fleas and ticks, but it also repels biting flies and mosquitoes..and here in Wisconsin, we are never short of mosquitoes this time of year!

Badger Vet is continuing to work with the Bark 10-4 program and working towards the goal of getting all volunteer fire departments equipped with the oxygen kits designed for animals. The masks are made to fit over small dogs, big dogs, cats and reptiles.

Badger Vet will be at the 2010 Rock County Women's Expo on Sunday, October 17th from 10am - 5pm. More information to come!
