Dr. Riley
Taylor is originally from southwest Wisconsin and graduated from UW-Platteville in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Biology. Taylor then attended the University of Wisconsin to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2023.
Taylor has loved animals from a young age, especially dogs and horses. Between her undergraduate and graduate studies, Taylor worked at a small animal clinic which solidified her decision to enter veterinary medicine. At that time, she was also introduced to veterinary spinal manipulation therapy (VSMT). Taylor obtained her certification in VSMT at the Healing Oasis Wellness Center in fall of 2022.
Taylor’s professional interests include veterinary alternative medicine (such as VSMT, rehabilitation, and acupuncture), and reproduction.
Taylor lives near Madison with her significant other as well as her two Great Danes, Tiberius and Anubis. In her spare time, she loves going for hikes with her dogs as well as trail riding with her horses, Sahara and Willow.
Interesting Facts
- She enjoys trail riding and is hoping to start training in ranch versatility riding.
- Her favorite state is Montana and she hopes to own a cabin with a mountain view there someday.
- Taylor enjoys baking, especially with her sourdough starter.
