Dr. Young
Hi! My name is Dr. Ashley Young, a recent addition to the team at Cambridge Animal Hospital serving as a small animal veterinarian. I was raised in a rural town in Northern Illinois, but grew up spending weekends and summers in Southern Wisconsin.
I received my veterinary degree from Iowa State University in 2022. Following graduation, I practiced as a mixed animal veterinarian working on dairy & beef cattle, small ruminants, and small animals. My special interests in veterinary medicine include hospice care for small animals, ultrasound and internal medicine cases.
Outside of veterinary medicine, I enjoy waterskiing, hunting, spending time with my family (including my golden retriever, Stan), and Wisconsin winters (an unpopular opinion!). I feel honored to care for our furry (and feathered!) friends and community where my husband and I are lucky enough to call home.
